Thanksgiving Service for 40 Years of Willo

In July this year, we as a Church will reach a significant milestone… the 40th anniversary of Willetton Christian Church's first gathering together! From our humble beginnings in 1983 down the road at Rostrata Primary School, to the move into our current building in 1989, the many baptisms, professions of faith, growth and church plants over the years, through to us meeting here today, we have much to celebrate and give thanks for. This is why Lord willing, on Sunday 23rd July 2023, we hope to have a Thanksgiving Service for 40 Years of Willo. It will be a wonderful opportunity for us to join together, to praise and thank God for His marvellous goodness, great faithfulness and enduring grace as we reflect over the years. This service will look a little different to our usual Sunday services, but whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or joined us recently, we hope it will be a reminder of God’s ongoing work within and through us to the community here in Willo. There will be more details to come in the lead up to the Thanksgiving Service, but we are excited to share that Willo’s first pastor Bill Bosker, and his wife Ineke have accepted an invitation to join us, and we can look forward to Bill bringing us God’s Word on that Sunday. Of course, we plan to finish up the celebration with some time for fellowship over lunch. It should be a great day and celebration, we hope you can make it!
